Cute Critter Cards

The next class I am teaching starts thisThursday. Lets Go Shopping with Brisstyle

It was my 1st wedding anniversary this week!I can not believe how fast this year has gone, although I think because we got married in our 40's it also seems like we have been married for ten years!
So I thought I could re-live our beautiful wedding day with this week's 'Let's go Shopping' with BrisStyle

Remember Shrinkie Plastic?

I remember as a kid shrinking our potato chip packets in the oven, they turned out so little and cute, I thought it was amazing....don't try it now kiddies, chip packets are now made out of foil :(  However I have been having a play with some shrinkie plastic, again from Stamp and Scrapbook Madness . I really like the pendants I have made from it, using some stamps from Unity. I am teaching a class soon, where I will show you how to make them, other shrinkie things and  also how to make some beautiful paper beads.

The Cutest Bluebird

More of my new work today, I have found the cutest little bluebird die at the shop I work in Stamp and Scrapbook Madness. I cut him out of some blue cardstock and then used some white copic blending card to cut out his middle, beak and feet, so I could colour him in.

The darker birdies are all cut from the white and coloured in with my copics

Now what to do with them? I could just keep them all because they are so cute!

New creations and a card challenge

Hello Everyone :)
I have been busy working for the last few weeks....... I didn't find any time to blog, but of course found time to do some crafty things. I have just joined a lovely group of like minded ladies on Paper Craft Planet a site dedicated to all things paper crafty, there are lots of challenges, different groups to join, freebies and lovely people to chat with.
The first challenge I have (ever) entered is a mermaid challenge in the group Michelle Perket Studio, here is a link to the challenge on her blog. Michelle designs some some beautiful digital stamps which are for sale in her etsy store.

Here is my entry with the lovely mermaid Pearl, I am pretty happy with my first attempt
